ABOUT US

At PsyAware we're building a future where everyone using psychedelics, whether in a clinical setting or for personal exploration, can do so in a safer, supported, and inclusive environment.

To shape this future, we committed to three key areas of focus:

EDUCATION

We provide education to raise awareness about the benefits and risks associated with psychedelics. As a balanced and impartial voice in the field, we develop courses, training programs, web resources, and educational campaigns to give individuals the accurate information they need to make informed decisions and stay safe.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

We collaborate with a diverse network of professionals, organisations, communities and people who have experienced harm to collectively shape a psychedelic culture that is inclusive and collaborative and promotes safety and wellbeing for everyone in the psychedelic field.

SUPPORT

We are creating support systems, for people who have faced challenging experiences, or abuse and transgressions, or simply have been let down by existing structures. This includes psychedelic integration circles and access to affordable therapeutic support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to protect and empower the psychedelic community through education, awareness, and support, while collaborating with a diverse network of individuals, communities and organisations, to promote an inclusive, ethical, and safe environment for all.

Our Vision

Our vision is a world where the psychedelic community thrives on the principles of safety, care, ethics and community empowerment.

We envision a global psychedelic culture that is not only aware and well informed, but also inclusive, responsible, and deeply connected to collective wellbeing.

In this future, every interaction within this space is supported by thorough knowledge and genuine care, fostering a culturally respectful environment that actively promotes minimising harm and ethical practices.

Furthermore, in this world, evidence-based, credible and trustworthy information about psychedelics will be easily accessible, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Our Values

Our values guide our actions, decision-making, and shaping our organisational culture. We strive to embody these values in our operations and interactions, ensuring they are reflected in everything we do. By remaining true to our principles, we ensure that as our values evolve, our methods evolve with them, maintaining alignment and integrity throughout our journey.

  • Safety: Creating a secure environment in the psychedelic space through harm reduction and respectful practices.

Care and Support: Providing a supportive network that nurtures personal and collective growth, addressing the diverse emotional and psychological needs.

  • Community Engagement: Building meaningful, trusting relationships within the psychedelic community, promoting collaboration and mutual support.

Relationality (Connectedness): Strengthening connections with the psychedelic community and with broader society to enhance community resilience and promote sustainable practices.

Accountability: Holding ourselves and others accountable for the impact of our actions on individuals and the community, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

Stewardship: Leading by example and providing guidance to foster a responsible and sustainable culture in the psychedelic space, setting standards for ethical processes and management.

  • Diversity and Equality: Valuing and actively promoting a diverse range of identities and perspectives, ensuring that all voices in the psychedelic field are heard and have equal opportunities to thrive.

Inclusivity: Creating safe and respectful spaces for everyone in the psychedelic space, emphasising diverse participation.

Equity: Providing tailored support and resources to meet the unique needs of individuals, aiming to remove barriers and ensure fair access to opportunities and outcomes.

Decolonisation: Addressing and dismantling historical and systemic inequalities that persist in societal structures, aiming to heal and rebuild on foundations of equity and respect.

Transformative Justice: Addressing harm, violence, and abuse not only by responding to these issues but also by transforming underlying social conditions and power dynamics, dismantling oppression, focusing on accountability and healing, prioritising community-based processes, and preventing future harm.

Embodied Social Justice: Engaging directly in actions that manifest principles of social justice, ensuring that these principles are woven into the fabric of our daily operations.
